- There should be CCTV warning signs situated around the practice.
- A CCTV policy should be in place. The policy should state the purpose of having CCTV in the practice and that the intended use of the data collected is solely for the purposes of detecting criminal activity. The footage should be good quality and the police should have access if they ever request it.
- The CCTV must be secure and encrypted.
- Individuals have a right to request a copy of any CCTV footage in which they are identifiable.
