- Understand the processes of deactivating non-cytotoxic and non-cytostatic medicines to prevent unintentional ingestion or misuse and the correct disposal.
- Knowledge of the consignment and waste transfer notes required for healthcare waste management and available disposal options.
- Understand the importance of healthcare waste audits and the role of policies and training in maintaining high standards of healthcare waste management.
